Loren Ward

Loren joined the Neon Legal team in January 2021 after graduating from Northumbria University in 2020 with a first-class master’s degree in Law

She works closely with Tushar and assists in the delivery of exceptional service to our clients

Her most recent project, with Tushar, was a buy-in and buy-out, move to a Mastertrust and wind-up a hybrid pension scheme with 3,000 members and over £750m assets

She provides legal advice in respect of public sector pensions to schools, MATs, and admitted LGPS employers. Together with Tushar, she provides legal advice on the Teachers’ Pension Scheme, the LGPS, NHS Pensions and the Civil Service Pension Scheme

She is known for her organisational abilities, particularly with large projects and ensuring a prompt response to clients

Loren advises clients on contentious pensions matters and submissions to the Pensions Ombudsman

Simone joined Neon Legal in 2012 and has over ten years of experience of pensions law

Simone works closely with the team to offer clients a comprehensive documentation service, including the creation of consolidated trust deeds and rules

After obtaining an honours degree in law from Northumbria University, Simone is currently undertaking the Solicitors Qualifying Exams and will qualify as a solicitor in 2025

She has acted for all types of pension schemes, both public and private sector, from individual arrangements to some of the largest in the UK
